Technologies
At Salzburg Schokolade the Echte Salzburger Mozartkugel from Mirabell (www.mozartkugel.at) are produced exclusively for Kraft Foods. Of that we are particularly proud, because it is one Salzburg speciality which is well-known far further afield than the borders of Austria.
The iconic Austrian bar Bobby or the nostalgic Coconut Rolls from the fifties are part of the product range of Salzburg Schokolade just as the modern crunchy snack Pardos, trendy presented in a recloseable cup.




Dragees
Which chocolate coated speciality would you like to have?
Hazelnuts, almonds, sultanas, banana chips, cornflakes or pumpkin seeds; coated with milk chocolate, dark chocolate or white chocolate? Should the surface be shiny or matt? Or maybe you would prefer them dusted with ground almonds smelling of Christmas?
Packed in sealed flow packs or in clipped bags? Or in containers? Or in bulk in 9 kg cartons?
Or perhaps you would prefer a crunchy core, like in our patterned Pardos snacks? In Cappuccino or Tiramisu dusted with cocoa?
Chocolate buttons with a fine sugar coating are also no problem for us, for example you can have them packed in a small dispenser...
Our coating masters are experienced experts. If you should have any special requests let us talk about them – (almost) everything is possible.

No matter whether it is the round chocolates with up to three different fillings or the formed specialities with the flat underside – the production of chocolates in Grödig near Salzburg has a long tradition. Just as the production of customized confectionery specialities like the ones filled with nougat cream has. Simply ask us; (almost) everything is possible as of a certain lot size.

Bars
On our bar production facility we produce with two different technologies: either by the extrusion method or using the so-called carpet technology. Various forms, sizes and recipes are possible.
The iconic Austrian bar by the name of Bobby, the nougat cream speciality Echtes Salzburger Genuss-Stangerl or the traditional Coconut Rolls are only three examples out of our current production programme.

Chocolate
Allow us one small reference: we produce exclusively for Kraft Foods the Mirabell Mozart chocolate tablet finely filled with three different fillings.We are also well acquainted with Santa Claus and Easter Bunnies.
Little figures moulded in chocolate also come from Grödig at the gates of Mozart's city and make your acquaintance in their well-known design (but we will say no more – one of our international clients you know…).

Wafers
Now, a wafer is not just a wafer. There are wafers (for example wafer blocks) which have deep indentations which make the product look larger than it is. There are wafers which are very compact, even hard and splintery.We at Salzburg Schokolade think that a wafer should be delicately crunchy, and never too thick. Only that way can one achieve a pleasant, delicate crunchy effect which allows the product nevertheless to melt in the mouth.
In regard to our creams we pay the utmost attention to their being fine and smooth. They must not crunch between the teeth as some creams do which are produced with coarse sugar.
